Virtual Consultation

Many of our patients come to us from across the country and around the world. For your convenience, we are pleased to offer a "Virtual Consultation" with our doctors. To begin the process, click on the link below. Please be prepared to supply us with some basic information as well as photographs to help our doctors answer your questions and recommend a course of treatment.

Your hair restoration planning begins with your private, complementary consultation. During this session, we photo document and measure the areas in which you are experiencing hair loss, thinning, or balding. These become part of your medical records. We then measure your donor hair reserves.

Each patient’s hair restoration is limited by the quantity of viable donor hair available to relocate to the bald and thinning areas. Donor density and scalp laxity are the key factors in determining the total donor reserves for each patient. In other words, there's a limit to the number of follicular units that can be transplanted. That's why we take precise measurements of the hair loss pattern and factor any potential future hair loss into your overall long-term surgical treatment plan.

Because hair loss is typically an ongoing and progressive problem, it’s important that any hair restoration plan account not just for your immediate needs but any needs that might arise. Your donor hairs are not a renewable resource! When they’re used up, they’re gone forever. Make sure your hair restoration surgeon plans not just for now, but your future hair restoration needs as well.
